Milton Family Medical Practice is now using secure mobile messages (SMS) via HotDoc to send our patients:
recalls (seeking follow up appointments regarding test/scan results etc); and
clinical reminders about upcoming health appointments, such as skin checks, cervical tests and blood tests.
The SMS replaces letters sent in the post - which is not only more environmentally-friendly, but also more secure because you can only read the SMS after verifying your personal information.
When you receive an SMS, open the message and click on the secure link. You will be asked to verify your personal information, including your last name and date of birth. Once completed, you can read the message and book your appointment.
If you would prefer to be called by our Reception Team, please just let us know - and for those with no mobile phone, we will be calling you as per previous processes.
